Casarsa della Delizia (Pn)
11-14 septermber 2019
The second edition of the Summer School The poetry of Pier Paolo Pasolin: themes, forms and language will be held from the 11th to the 14th September at the Pier Paolo Pasolini Study Centre in Casarsa della Delizia (Pordenone). The school is a unique opportunity to study and exchange views with international scholars for further exploration of the work of Pier Paolo Pasolini through a higher education course. The lectures will be particularly devoted to the study of Pasolini’s poems, by exploring the individual collections and delving more widely into the themes, the style and language, as well as in the ways in which, in the Pasolini ‘workshop’, the poetic form interacts and contaminates other genres and connects with its contemporary cultural storm.
The school is organized by the Pier Paolo Pasolini Study Centre of Ca- sarsa, and is affiliated to the Équipe Littérature et Culture Italiennes (ELCI) de la Sorbonne Université, to the Department of Humanities of the University of Trieste, the Italian Society for the study of Literary Modernity (MOD), and is supported by the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Municipality of Casarsa della Delizia and the Friuli Foundation.
The lectures are mainly aimed at university students, undergraduates and post-graduates of all nationalities who are able to prove their knowledge of the Italian language
The study programme is divided into six sessions and includes a di- dactic workshop in which young scholars will be able to discuss their research work with the school lecturers.
